I’m Sergey Shapiro, an independent lettering and calligraphy artist with over 20 years of experience in graphic design, specialising in custom lettering and calligraphy.

I create custom lettering entirely by hand, drawing each letterform from scratch and developing the composition specifically for each project. Rather than adapting existing typefaces, I focus on creating original letterforms with their own rhythm, character and personality.

My work spans hand-drawn logotypes and wordmarks, as well as lettering for apparel, packaging, editorial, tattoos and other applications. I work with clients, companies and agencies worldwide.

I’ve worked with brands including Nike, Adidas, Grohe, Carhartt-WIP, Montana Cans and many others.
